About Us

The Ninovan Jr. Waterski and Wakeboard Team was started in the spring of 2007 to promote the sport of waterskiing and wakeboarding. Throughout the summer seasons since then we have met several times a week to ski, wakeboard, wake-skate, and just have fun. We ski behind a 2008 Malibu Response LXI with a power wedge and tower for wakeboarding.

Some things we've done

2009: We kicked off the year by helping out at the Munson Ski and Marine booth at the Chicago Boat and RV Show. We also participated in several local parades and put in lots of time on the water.

2008: During the year we participated in the Minooka Memorial Day Parade in May as well as the Channahon Three Rivers Fest Parade in September. This year we gained 3 new members as well as boatloads of practice.

Sponsors

Our program is currently run through the Minooka High School and sponsored by Munson Ski and Marine. Donations from other corporations and individuals help to defray the cost of the program.
