About Us

The Ninovan Jr. Waterski and Wakeboard Team was started in the spring of 2007 to promote the sport of waterskiing and wakeboarding. Throughout the summer seasons of 2007 and 2008 we met several times a week to ski, wakeboard, wake-skate, and just have fun. We ski behind a 2008 Malibu Response LXI with a power wedge and tower for wakeboarding. In upcoming years we are also hoping to compete with other schools in our area.

Some things we've done

2009: The year is just beginning, but we already kicked it off by helping out at the Munson Ski and Marine booth at the Chicago Boat and RV Show. We hope to participating in several of the local parades again this year as well as possibly a few new events.

2008: During the year we participated in the Minooka Memorial Day Parade in May as well as the Channahon Three Rivers Fest Parade in September. This year we gained 3 new members as well as boatloads of practice.

Sponsors

Our program is currently run through the Minooka High School and sponsored by Munson Ski and Marine. Donations from other corporations and individuals help to defray the cost of the program.
